Here is an accessible document for non-specialized music teachers. Thanks to coding of easy rhythms and several tracks to various pieces, this booklet enables one to begin stage band work through percussion using the body or common objects such as cardboard or paper. This authentic band work divides the class into ‘desks,’ each one having its rhythmic phrases. The musical practice put forward in ODI jazz allows teachers to develop in kids the skills of listening, taking responsibility and respecting others.
